I've tried everything, but I don't have enough time. Specifically:

I made a list. with all the work. Whatever guide or manual I opened, the first and basic action for good time management was to write down on a list all the jobs, tasks that I have to complete in a typical day/week/month.

I evaluated each assignment. I divided each task into Important that is directly related to my role and position at work and Urgent for which there is a deadline and must be done now, e.g. the report delivery today, is "S"&"E". This helped me decide which tasks to start with immediately and which ones to leave for last.

I did weekly planning. Based on the "S" & "E" classification, I placed each task - obligation in my weekly plan. Technology provides me with solutions, as long as I utilize them appropriately.

Very often we wonder what we are doing wrong and are ineffective in time management. The causes can come either from the external environment or from us and our internal clock. It is a fact that the Western lifestyle is not synchronized with the biological clock, which is different for each person. Each person has their own internal clock, based on which the cells wake up and sleep. Thus, the alarm clock may ring at 6 in the morning, but our biological-internal clock has not yet struck, this can create delays, difficulty concentrating, fatigue and affect time management and performance. Beyond this, taking on new responsibilities at work, changing jobs, setting higher goals and other changes in professional or personal life can upset priorities and the way we organize time.

No matter how well prepared we are, it is impossible to predict everything in advance and the balance between work and home obligations can often be lost. So it is normal that there are times when we struggle to manage our time effectively.

Often the non-acceptance or refusal This normal state contributes negatively to time management. The acceptance it can make it easier for us to move towards a better way of management.

Sometimes the demand Our need for everything to run like clockwork causes us stress and can make effective time management even more difficult. Adopting a flexible preference in how things work is often more beneficial for us and those around us.

Other times we get upset with destructive thoughts such as: «"It's devastating if I don't arrive on time for my appointment"», or «"It's tragic if I don't have time to send the report on time"» and we are led to wrong choices & priorities and consequently we do not manage time effectively. How helpful are these thoughts when we do our planning? What would be different if we turned these thoughts into non-destructive ones?;

I also often hear the expression «"I can't stand it"» when my schedule gets disrupted or «"I can't"» to plan anything, and so things are left to chance. It is worth planning, but at the same time we must be prepared to accept that some of the plans we make may change.

Another reason that can make it difficult for us to manage time well is lack of confidence in ourselves. If our mind is filled with thoughts, such as: «"I am incapable. I will not be able to meet my obligations"», our behavior may not be functional and thus priorities go astray...

Finally, the difficulty to say "NO"« ή to ask for help, potentially putting even more strain on our schedule. What would happen to your schedule if you politely asked for help from someone you trust?;

What would you like to improve in the way you manage your time?;

Let's discuss it!

«Τι να κάνω για να βελτιώσω τον τρόπο που διαχειρίζομαι το χρόνο μου;» με ρώτησε ο Ευριπίδης στην πρώτη του συνεδρία coaching. Έχω δοκιμάσει τα πάντα, […]

[4

post-534","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-articles
["GET
